Empower Good was founded by Carina Martin, Chief Executive Officer, after more than 17 years as a nonprofit CEO, growing it from a startup to a $20+M annual operating budget, serving tens of thousands of children and caregivers each year.
She’s lived the growth.

Sam Martin serves as Chief Operating Officer of Empower Good, bringing decades of executive leadership, operational expertise, nonprofit board service, and a deep commitment to helping organizations become stronger and more sustainable.
He has led teams through growth, change, and complex operational challenges across organizations of varying sizes, while also serving on nonprofit boards for more than 10 years, focused on improving the lives of children and families.
At Empower Good, Sam helps translate mission into structure—supporting the people, systems, and strategies nonprofit organizations need to grow their impact without sacrificing their sustainability.
